| 米国では1933年にラジオドラマが放送、1949年〜1958年にTV放送、日本では1958年からTBS系列で放送 主題歌、ロッシーニ作曲のウィリアム・テル序曲で始まるドラマはマスクで顔を隠したローン・レンジャーと相棒のインディアン、トントが正義のため悪人をやっつけるという西部劇です。 【一言】 ローン・レンジャーが愛馬シルバーに掛ける「ハイヨー、シルバー」やトントがローン・レンジャーを呼ぶときに「キモサベ」という言葉は当時流行りました。その後、サラ金などからお金を借りてる人をローン・レンジャーなどと言っている人もいました。 ビデオも何本か発売されましたがセレクト物でした。DVDは各社から発売されましたが、放映順がまちまちだったり、1シーズンが全40話だったり、よくわかりません。米国と日本の違いか日本では全話放送されなかったんでしょうかね。当時の記憶はあまりなく申し訳ありません。 映画化にも3本なりました。「西部の王者 ローン・レンジャー（1956年）」「ローン・レンジャー 失われた黄金郷（1958年）」「ローン・レンジャー（1981年）」。筆者のコレクションは1シーズン40話と映画2本だけしかありません。 これもかなり昔のですが、今観てもしっかりしていますし、結構おもしろいです。ローン・レンジャーのマスクとグリーン・ホーネットのマスクって似てます。 |
